On January 30, The Carter Center’s China Focus initiative (publishers of this newsletter) held a round table titled “Women in U.S.-China Relations: Generational Perspectives” as part of our annual Jimmy Carter Forum on U.S.-China Relations. Panelists included:

You ought to have a panel looking at the S&T and education relationships if you are looking at people to people ties. From 1979-2015, S&T cooperation has been one if the foundational elements of bilateral relations. You really can’t understand the U.S.-China relationship without examining the role of research cooperation, student and scholar exchanges, etc.
